COCOP - Coordinating Optimisation of Complex Industrial Processes
–
The aim of the project was to develop tools for the optimisation of large industrial plants. These plants are complex, which causes challenges in both communication and the optimisation of production processes. The heterogeneity of facilities is also a challenge in systems integration.
I had multiple responsibilities. My main role was the development of prototype applications and especially a communication stack. I also had responsibilities to coordinate the implementation of prototypes for validation and the writing of documentation. These tasks have involved project partners from other European countries.
